Field Sales Executive

Location: Lincolnshire

Are you confident starting conversations, building lasting business relationships and turning opportunities into results? Ashcourt Group is looking for a Field Sales Executive to develop customer relationships and grow sales across the Lincolnshire area. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, understanding what customers need and finding practical ways to help them.

About the role

You’ll take ownership of developing new and existing customer relationships. By getting to know each customer’s business, priorities and challenges, you’ll be able to introduce relevant products and services, offer responsive support and build trust over time. You’ll plan your activity, follow up enquiries and keep a clear view of opportunities as they progress from first conversation to agreement.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Identifying and approaching prospective customers, as well as developing opportunities with existing accounts.
• Meeting customers in the field to understand their requirements and discuss suitable solutions.
• Preparing and following up quotations, enquiries and sales proposals in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintaining regular contact with customers and providing a helpful, reliable point of contact.
• Keeping accurate records of customer conversations, activity and opportunities, and sharing relevant updates with colleagues.
• Working towards sales objectives while maintaining a strong focus on service, quality and long-term customer relationships.
• Keeping up to date with the Group’s offering and local market developments so you can spot opportunities and respond confidently.

About you

You’ll be a proactive and approachable communicator who is comfortable meeting people, asking good questions and listening carefully. You’ll bring energy and organisation to your work, take responsibility for following things through, and remain resilient when a sale takes time to develop. Previous experience in a field-based sales or customer-facing role would be valuable, along with the confidence to manage your own schedule and prioritise competing demands. Most importantly, you’ll care about giving customers a quality experience and take pride in representing the business well.

Good written communication, commercial awareness and the ability to build rapport with people at different levels will help you succeed. You should be comfortable using everyday digital tools to manage information and keep your activity up to date. A full, valid driving licence is required for this field-based position.
