Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum 

Hours: 45 hours per week

We’re looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor who wants to be part of a dynamic, forward‑thinking environment where no two days are the same and where your impact is genuinely felt. This is a key role supporting the Commercial Director, Contracts Managers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.

As a Quantity Surveyor at the Ashcourt Group, your responsibilities will for: 

  • Analysing subcontract quotations, liaising with contracts managers and construction director
  • Preparing and processing formal subcontract documents, including certification of interim and final payments and agreement of final accounts
  • Producing Bills of Quantities or activity schedules for valuation and payment purposes
  • Preparing accurate cash flow forecasts for internal reporting and client requirements
  • Monitoring and control contract income and expenditure, including interim and final applications, final accounts, and recovery of late payments
  • Producing monthly commercial reports for the Commercial Director, including cost/value reconciliations and turnover forecasts
  • Providing commercial advice and support to site teams to optimise contract performance and resource use

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • A HND or Degree in QS or equivalent experience
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities
