HGV Driver - Skip Wagon

Role: HGV Driver - Skip Wagon

Salary: £13.50 per hour/ £20.50 per hour overtime rate

Location: Foster Street, HU8 8BT

We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our Skip Wagon fleet!

As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime for this role is paid at a rate of £20.50 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.

Key responsibilities:

· To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws

· To operate the vehicle safely and professionally

· To drive long or short distances as required

· To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager

· To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary

· To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle

· To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet

· To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition

As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will have:

· A valid HGV Cat C license

· Tachograph card

· CPC Qualification

· A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Skip Wagon Driver 

· Maximum of 6 points on your licence

· Valid right to work in the UK
